We slept in a bit after the late night. We got breakfast at the room and then headed to the Arc de Triumph. After seeing the streeet level, we climbed the stairs to the viewing platform at the top. It was a warm sunny day and the view was terrific. Afterwards, we walked along the Champs Elysee, browsing through the shops and stopping for lunch at a sandwich place. Further down we stopped at a road stand for crepes and ice cream.

We then walked along the Seine, passing the Grand Palais and crossing to Les Invalides. We did not go inside, but walked among the cannons in the courtyard.

We then headed to the Isle de la Cite. There we saw Notre Dame.  We then ate at a Subway across the street, and then strolled through a park behind the cathedral before crossing over to the Isle de St Louis where we browsed more shops in the street.

Metro back to the room.
