We awoke and went straight into the pedestrian area I was in the night before. We first searched for food, finding a pasta and pizza place. We then walked over to the area of the palace and went inside a butterfly house. It was really hot and humid inside, but there were quite a few huge butterflies flapping around, which was neat.
We then walked at random along the Ringstrasse, along sone parks, by the Rathaus, past another gothic church being renovated, and then back to the pedestrian area to see the main church. From there, we stopped at a couple of souvenir stores, went back to the river, and then returned to the room.
Back at the room, Phyllis and I plotted out the next week or so and reserved rooms in Innsbruck and Rome. We then returned to the pedestrian shopping area near our hotel and had dinner at a pub. I had short ribs and Phyllis had chicken. Amber had pancakes and Kaitlin had cake. The portions were huge.
We then returned to the rooms, played cards again and turned in.
